I’m Jason, a Photographer based in Västernorrland,
Sweden.
How it all started
While working towards an engineering degree at LJMU, I impulsively purchased my first DSLR camera.
I didn’t really know what I was getting into but I knew it was going to be an adventure.
Adventure Time
While at university I worked for several media companies boom opping, sound teching and the occasional extra work in front of the camera. Being heavily influenced by my grandad and working on jobs with some very skilled camera operators I decided to get my first camera. I used the entry level Nikon D3300 on almost all of my university projects after and that point and fell in love with the craft.
It wasnt untill i finally landed a job at an audio distributor taking promotional images of products from brands such as Sony, Neumann and Sennheiser that I really learned to hone my skills.

Where it's at
Since moving to Sweden I have had to learn a new language, renovate a house, learn to be more self-sufficient while the whole time taking pictures and finding my style. Shooting weddings and events has been my core work since moving here but I don't shy away from the occasional dog photoshoot and corporate ad campaigns!
